About American Councils Kyrgyzstan

American Councils has operated in the Kyrgyz Republic since 1994. Our office is located in the capital city of Bishkek. 

Over the last 20+ years of operation in the Kyrgyz Republic, we have implemented many programs, including: Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX), the U.S. Central Asia Education Foundation (U.S.-CAEF) Enterprise Fellowship, the EducationUSA Advising Center, Summer Camp America, FLEX Exchanges to Internships, USG Alumni Engagement, Lehigh Summer Internship, Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Russian, and over a dozen different cultural, educational and professional exchange programs.

Our current programs provide individuals with opportunities to study, exchange culture, and build skills.

About American Councils

To date, we have built a community of more than 94,000 alumni, including national leaders, ministers, members of parliament, ambassadors, and CEOs.
