Fostering Connections Among the USG Alumni Community in Kyrgyzstan

American Councils is cooperating with the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek to foster an active network of U.S. Government sponsored exchange program alumni (USG alumni) in the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2020, activities will include the annual USG Alumni Reunion and ongoing alumni engagement activities throughout 2019-20, including mentoring and networking.

The alumni mentoring program will leverage the professional and personal experience of senior alumni to strengthen the professional skills and networks of more junior alumni in selected thematic areas and will enhance the overall professional and personal development of both mentors and mentees through targeted training and activities.

In addition to the mentoring program, a series of alumni networking events will take place that will bring together alumni to discuss current and emerging themes in the Kyrgyz Republic.
